Belfast Primary Schools Representative Squad
Fri 10 Feb 2023Good luck to two of our footballers, Alfie and Jaxon, who have been selected for trials this afternoon for the Belfast Primary Schools Representative Squad. They will be competing with children from primary schools all over Belfast for places on the team. We wish the boys all the best.

Northern Ireland Primary School Road Safety Quiz
Tue 07 Feb 2023After a two year hiatus because of covid, our amazing P7 team of Abigail, Holly, Lydia and Meral helped Victoria Park win the Belfast heat of the Northern Ireland Primary School Road Safety Quiz at the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service Training Centre this morning for the third time in a row. After eight gruelling rounds, they finished top of the scoreboard and now go on to the Northern Ireland finals in March along with Lisnasharragh. Thanks to the Abigail's mum for accompanying Mr Ryden and the team.

Boys Football Team Bring Back Yet Another Piece of Silverware!
Fri 13 Jan 2023Well done to Mr Gullen and our footballers after they brought back another piece of silverware for our bulging trophy cabinet at the Ashfield Primary School Soccer Sevens tournament on Friday. The A team won the second place trophy after defeating Nettlefield 2-0 in their final. Our B team also had a fantastic morning as well. Thanks to the PE staff at Ashfield for a great morning as always.

Congratulations to Amirah!
Wed 14 Dec 2022Congratulations to Amirah from P4 who recently participated in a Tilt Gymnastics in-house competition. She is in Level 1 Advanced but competed in levels 3/4/5 where she is the youngest by three years. She finished second in the Floor Routine and Vault and won Overall Gymnast. Well done Amirah!

Carolling at George Best City Airport
Tue 13 Dec 2022As one of George Best City Airport's adopted schools we were delighted to be invited to sing carols at the airport terminal yesterday afternoon. We sang so well that Santa even flew in to congratulate us and bring us some gifts! Thanks to the airport for their kind invitation and thanks also to all the parents and friends who came over to support us.

World Kindness Day
Sat 19 Nov 2022To mark World Kindness Day on Sunday, Harley was nominated by her P5 classmates to go to a special event in Belfast City Airport to receive a certificate for the kindness and care she shows in school. Harley and her dad enjoyed some special treats as well as a Behind the Scenes tour which included air traffic control and the airport fire station. Harley is a wonderful example of kindness to those around her and we’re very proud of her. Well done!

Girls Football Team Progress to the Semi-Finals!
Thu 20 Oct 2022Tanya and Mr Ryden were delighted with the performance of our girls football team in their first outing of the year as they won 3-1 against Harding Memorial at Avoniel Leisure Centre in their BPSFA Cup tie and progressed to the semi-finals. A fantastic achievement girls!
