  Primary Three had an exciting afternoon! They stayed in school until 3pm for the first time today and took part in Activity Based Learning both indoors and outdoors.

  

• Easter Card Competition

  Well done to the winners of the Easter card competition run by Connswater. Thanks to Mrs Jenkins for organising our participation and Tammy from Connswater for supplying all the resources and prizes.

  

• Killinchy Beekeepers Association

  P4 were delighted to welcome Keith Rolleston from the Killinchy Beekeepers Association last week. He chatted to them about the work of the association and the children interviewed him as part of their World Around topic, 'The Honey Bee'. They also got to taste some of his honey!

  

• P7 visit to Delamont

  Despite a few showers, Mr Ryden's class enjoyed their first day at Delamont. They went on an adventure walk in Tollymore Forest in the afternoon and they have just completed the night line in the woods next to the house. Hopefully they're ready for some much-needed sleep ready for tomorrow's activities!

  After missing out last year due to the centre being closed, we are delighted that our two P7 classes are able to return to Delamont this week. Mrs McKnight's class had a great first day as they enjoyed their adventure walk in Tollymore Forest.
