Every year Mrs Mitchell comes in to tell P5 all about Moses. God used Moses to do incredible things and Mrs Mitchell tells these stories through drama. The children love to dress up in all of her incredible costumes and take part in the fun activities she organises for them. Unfortunately this year we didn't get to finish the story of Moses, so Mrs Mitchell has sent these videos for you to watch so that you can finish the story at home.
God's Story: Ten Commandments and the Golden Calf
Moses went to Mount Sinai to talk to God, but when he was up there, the Israelites moaned and complained and did something very silly!
God made a promise to the Israelites as they left Egypt. He promised that he would bring them safely to a land that flowed with milk and honey, a place that they could call their own. After 40 years in the desert, God kept that promise. This is the story of how Joshua listened to God and brought the Israelites safely to the promised land.
