This week we are going to be revising the written calculation methods for short and long multiplication. Before the children look at these over the next few days, we want them to practise their recall of the different times table facts. They need to complete the different multiplication wheels in this suggested order: x1, x10, x2, x5, x3, x4, x9, x6, x8, x7, x11 and x12. There is an optional colouring activity they can do if they want once they complete the multiplication wheels. If they would like to, we would suggest they do the sheet with 2 stars unless they really want to challenge themselves with the 3 stars one (they need to be confident with long multiplication).
