Literacy will be a bit different this week. You'll be glad to hear that spellings have now finished for the year.

 I will be including daily activities from BBC Bitesize that you can try and that might be useful revision, but usually at this time of year we do our Titanic project. Many of you have already done huge amounts of research and it has been great to read what you have done, so we will be doing things differently this year. We want you to make a model of Titanic using whatever resources that you have available to you, but instead of adding research to this, we want you to create a set of detailed instructions explaining how you made it. There are a number of ways that you could do this. You could type up a set of instructions in Word, you could make a photo or video journal with instructions explaining each stage, you could handwrite your instructions with sketches, you could use an app like Book Creator or Explain Everything to document the process or you may come up with your own method.

Remember, a set of instructions must have a list of materials that you will need, bullet points or numbered steps and time connectives.

Please send your work to us and we will try and create a gallery on the school website to display all your work.
