Welcome to Victoria Park Primary School

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. This website aims to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils.

Victoria Park PS opened in September 2008. The new school was the amalgamation of a number of schools in the Sydenham area of East Belfast including Mersey St. PS, Sydenham Infants and Strand Primary Schools. The schools merged into the old Strand building, clearing the Sydenham site for a new state-of-the art school.

The school is adopted by George Best Belfast City Airport which supports the school through providing human resource expertise, publicity. pupil visits and an extensive range of creative and expressive workshop opportunities.

Victoria Park PS also offer an extensive range of clubs and after school activities for all children, from P1 upwards.

The school has extensive links with business and industry and currently has 6 local companies who allow staff to visit school each week to work with small groups of pupils. The children visit their business partners at work and have wonderful first-hand experiences of employment, citizenship and learning for later life.

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the school direct with any queries you may have. Thank you for visiting!
