As with adding fractions, subtracting fractions is a topic the children have only covered briefly. They should rewatch the Corbettmaths video from yesterday on adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator skipping to the part on subtraction.  The children should then complete the Subtracting Fractions with Same Denominator worksheet although Circles could probably skip this and go straight to the next activity.

Circles and some Triangles should rewatch the second Corbettmaths video, again skipping to the part on subtracting fractions with different denominators, and then complete at least the first worksheet. There are also some optional Corbettmaths questions for consolidating yesterday and today's work as well.
