Week 10
Week 10 - Handling Data
This week in maths we are using our data handling skills. There are lots of different types of graphs and we have already started to look at some of these in school earlier this year. This week, we will revise how to read and interpret bar charts and tally charts, and then push on to look at bar charts, including bar charts with splits within categories. As the week goes on, we have added a little more challenge and tasks that allow you to draw your own graph. When constructing your graph, remember it is important to use a ruler, to label the x and y axis and colour your bars neatly.
We are also revising our multiplication and division facts for the 4 times tables to keep our skills up with these important facts. Remember a lot of the maths you will do in P6 require you to be really good at your tables so make sure you keep practising at home.
Have a great week and make sure you send Mr Bleakley and Miss Boyd lots of pictures of your work either on SeeSaw or via email.
