Good morning P6.

For this week and next week we are going to look in more detail at how to write an informal letter.

You are to pretend that you are a First Class passenger on Titanic and to describe what you have seen to a member of your family or a friend.

You would like to mention the high level of luxury in your cabin, some of which had a bedroom and a sitting room.  You will also mention some of the facilities only available for First Class; gymnasium, Turkish baths, Swimming Pool, Squash Court, Barber Shop, A la Carte Restaurant, Verandah Café, Café Parisienne, Dining Saloon, Smoking Room, Reading and Writing Room, First Class Lounge, Reception Room, Entrance Halls, Promenade and Boat Decks, Grand Staircase and leaded glass dome above.

Use the research that you have already done in your World Around Us topic or look up some information for this week.

On Friday this week you will plan out your letter and you will actually write it next week. Think of who you would have left behind, Mum, Dad, Granny, Sister, Brother or Best Friend, and would be writing to.

In our Grammar work we are going to remind ourselves of Nouns and Adjectives, Verbs and Adverbs.
