Week 3 – Numeracy
Well done on all your hard work last term in Maths – we were really impressed. As a reminder, your work in Maths will be a mix between some online links and some worksheets. You can complete the worksheets on paper, just like you would in school, or you are free to print these if you need to. On Monday – Friday this week you should complete one activity a day from those listed below. Remember to also learn the maths facts listed below and remember to check out the Maths With Parents activities too.
We have also got a new section on our World Around Us P5 page all about Moses, where you can finish the work you started with Mrs Mitchell when she came into school to let us all learn the story of Moses.
For Week 3 we will be focussing on using money, which is a vitally important life skill. This is one topic that some people find really easy and some find really hard. We will be working on money for a couple of weeks. This week is all about seeing what you know about notes, coins etc and beginning to calculate and problem solve with money. The activities below have a range of challenges. Some are simpler than others, but please do try to complete all the tasks you can. Remember money and time are both very important life skills that you will need long after you leave school.
Have a great week!
