Home Learning - Week 2

 

Welcome to your second week of home learning this year.  Unfortunately to protect our community we need to work from home for a little longer.  Both Miss Boyd and Mr Bleakley were very imporessed by your work last week and we look forward to seeing your achievements this week.  Your work for this week is below for Maths.  There are also activities to complete in Literacy and the World Around Us.

 

Each day this week from Tuesday to Friday you should complete the activities below.

Monday - Online Activity 1 & Activity 1

Tuesday - Online Activity 2 & Activity 2

Wednesday - Online Activity 3 & Activity 3

Thursday - Online Activity 4 & Activity 4

Friday - Online Activity 5 & Activity 5.

 

This week there are also some additional online activities under the written ones should you wish to complete these as extension activities.

 

Once you complete your work, ask an adult at home to help you send a picture of your work to your teacher as a Seesaw message.  Remember adults can contact your teacher on Seesaw or can email them if they are having problems.  Miss Boyd's email address is eboyd460@c2kni.net and Mr Bleakley's is jbleakley288@c2kni.net.

 

This week in Maths we are revising and consolidating our subtraction skills.  We have also included a 'challenge grid' for Friday.  Each week we will set one activity from this grid, but you can choose which one you would like to complete.  The aim is to try a different one each week to apply, learn and use your Mathematics skills in new situations.  

 

Remember you will also have Literacy and World Around Us to complete too.  You should also be taking some time to read on Bug Club and having a look at the Maths with Parents activities too.
