PE
Wed 13 Jan 2016Parents, may I ask you to please ensure that your child brings their PE kit on the correct day. Many pupils are forgetting these, they are unable to take part and have to be supervised in other classrooms. PE is a legal requirement and all children must take part. Can I ask you to also prevent piercing ears as earrings must be removed by the children for PE lessons due to health and safety.

Fri 08 Jan 2016Our Primary 7’s will be receiving their transfer results on Saturday 30th January.
The Department of Education has suggested that schools no longer provide meetings to complete the transfer forms. However, I wish to inform you that I will be continuing to offer you an interview time to discuss your child's options and to ensure that all essential criteria is put on the transfer forms - missing information could result in your child not being admitted to your choice of school.
All P7 parents - You will be receiving a letter from me listing available dates. If you wish to arrange a meeting please contact the school office to book a suitable time. Your child has already received a list of all Open Nights - please try to visit as many of the school Open Evenings as you can.

January 2016
Mon 04 Jan 2016Happy New Year and welcome back to a new term in Victoria Park. I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing Christmas. As always in school we look forward to a new term, the events and challenges it brings. Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Christmas celebrations. It was wonderful to see the very packed audiences supporting our children. I'm sure you will agree that the children were terrific in every event or performance that they took part in. The Choir went to George Best Belfast City airport for their annual visit to entertain travellers as they passed through the terminal. It was also lovely to see so many parents there to support the choir.
