Tue 01 Mar 2016A big thank you to all the P1, P2 and P3 parents who have accepted Mrs Lennox's invitation to come along to her Coffee and Crafts morning on Thursday 3rd March. Victor Sinclair Cup
Tue 01 Mar 2016Commiserations to the football team after they lost on penalties against Seaview in the semi-finals of the Victor Sinclair Cup. The match itself finished 0-0 but unfortunately it wasn't to be in the resulting shoot-out. St John the Baptist were the eventual winners after they won 1-0 in the final. We then drew 2-2 against Inchmarlo in the third-place play-off. The team were disappointed not to go all the way but they can feel very proud of getting to this stage of the competition.

Northern Ireland Civil Service Athletics Club
Sun 28 Feb 2016Well done to all the P7 boys and girls who gave up their Saturday morning to repesent the school at the Northern Ireland Civil Service Athletics Club primary schools cross-country event at Stormont. It is the first time the school has particpated and it was great to see so many children want to take part. The muddy conditions made it very challenging but they all did the school proud. Hopefully they've all recovered now! Thanks to all the parents and family who came along to support us and Mr Dunlop for organising our participation.

Belfast Primary Schools Representative Squad
Fri 26 Feb 2016Well done to two members of our football team, Cole Killops and Ryan McKay, who recently took part in trials for the Belfast Primary Schools Representative Squad. They were competing with nearly 80 other children from primary schools all over Belfast for places on the team. Unfortunately, they didn't make the squad but they are in great company as neither did George Best when he was in primary school! You need a little bit of luck and as the coaches of the team themselves would say, they don't always get it right. We are very proud of them for getting this far in the process and they were presented with certificates from the Belfast Primary Schools FA in assembly. Hopefully, they will show what the Belfast team is missing on Monday afternoon when they play for the school in the semi-final of the Victor Sinclair Cup!
