Strand Cinema
Sun 19 Jun 2016P4-P7 children who are in Andrews house will be going to the Strand Cinema tomorrow afternoon to watch 'The Angry Birds Movie' as a reward for being this term's winning house. Well done!

Jessica Gillespie
Sat 18 Jun 2016Congratulations to Jessica Gillespie (P5 Room 9) who has recently been awarded her Grade 10 in ice skating. This is especially remarkable because she has only been skating since last February. She will be receiving her new certificate next week. Well done Jessica!

Ark Farm
Wed 15 Jun 2016A fun day was had by P3 when they went to the Ark Farm on Tuesday. They were lucky to see baby chicks which had hatched that morning and some very brave pupils held a tarantula!

P7 Ashfield Boys and Girls Schools – Important Reminder
Tue 14 Jun 2016To all P7 girls who are going to Ashfield Girls- there will be a special induction workshop on Thursday 16th June at Ashfield School at 2.00. The girls will be dismissed from school at 1.30. It is parents' responsibility to take the girls to Ashfield.
P7 boys will attend Ashfield on two days allocated in your letter from the school. The boys will attend on 15th & 16th June. Please note, parents must make their own arrangements to take their child to the schools on the above days.

P4-P7 Sports Day
Sat 11 Jun 2016Hope everyone enjoyed our new-look P4-P7 Sports Day at the Inverary pitches yesterday morning. It was great to see so many parents and other family members there to cheer the children on. A big thanks to Mr Dunlop for organising the whole event and David McConnell for his invaluable assistance. Plans are already afoot to make it even bigger and better next year!

Minecraft
Sat 11 Jun 2016Do you know what your child is up to when they are playing on their iPads, tablets and games consoles? We have had a number of worried parents who have contacted the school after their child was encouraged to visit inappropriate sites from other users in Minecraft chatrooms. We would encourage you to read this NSPCC guide if you are unsure how to turn off the chat function on Minecraft so your child can't talk to strangers.

P4-P7 Sports Day
