Car Park Barrier Reminder
Fri 05 Oct 2018This morning before school, a member of staff was almost run over by a parent in a silver car who came through the barrier and down into the drop-off.
As you are aware this area is closed off and only staff may park in the spaces beyond the barrier. No other cars should be in this area, whether the tape is up or not! This area has been closed due to a child being hit by a car last term.
This could very easily have been another child and the consequences could have been much ...worse!
Work will begin later this month on a permanent barrier to protect our children. School has to pay for this ourselves at a cost of £25,000. Money which we could be using for our children’s education.
