School Meals Update.

Monday 22nd to Wednesday 24th September, 2025.

Dear Parent /Guardian,

I have been informed by the School Meals Department that the work to replace their boilers will not be complete until possibly next Wednesday. They hope to have the boilers commissioned and working to resume school meals on Thursday 25th September.

For us to remain open beyond lunchtime, pupils will have to continue to bring a packed lunch each day. Pupils entitled to free school meals only will be provided with a packed lunch from the dinner hall. Those who have already paid for dinners have had it credited to their dinners account and it will be available as payment for meals as soon as these resume.

Can I ask you to please consider the food being sent in with your child and to encourage a healthy lunch. Tubes of Pringles, bars of chocolate, packets of sweets, family-sized crisps and fizzy drinks are not appropriate as a lunch.

I will update you early next week re the completion of the works.

Apologies for this inconvenience but this is completely beyond my control.
