Dear Parents,

 

I have strict procedures in place to keep the children safely in their class bubbles. To maintain this, no other staff are allowed in the rooms and this includes Key stage one staff who normally release Key stage two for their planning, preparation and marking.  To allow this non-contact time to happen, I will be sending the P4 to P7 year groups home one hour earlier on Thursday for the foreseeable future. The whole school will therefore finish on Thursday at the same Friday staggered times.  This will begin on Thursday 17^th September 2020.

 

This additional time is also to allow my cleaners into the rooms to carry out the additional cleaning they are required to do. I have bought a “fogger” machine which sanitises a complete room and we plan to do each class once a week so this will let us ensure every class is cleaned as thoroughly as we can.
