Maths Week
P5 Room 9 had a great action-packed week of fun maths activities to celebrate Maths Week Ireland. They started their week using their thinking, problem solving and budgeting skills to help buy supplies for an orphanage after learning about the story of Amy Carmichael. They then put their computational thinking and coding skills to the test, using directional language to solve problems using Probot. Later they began to investigate the festival of Diwali and the beautiful rangoli patterns, using their symmetry skills to create some of their own. Finally, they used their multiplication skills to create lovely colourful pictures.
