School Uniform

 

At Victoria Park Primary School we are proud of our pupils and their uniform.

It is the policy of the school that all pupils wear full school uniform.

 

Primary 1 to Primary 3

Pale blue polo shirt, Victoria Park navy V-neck sweatshirt or cardigan

Boys: Grey trousers

Girls: Navy skirt / pinafore / specified bootleg trouser

Navy school fleece / reversible waterproof coat. Black shoes.

 

Primary 4 to Primary 7

Victoria Park Navy V-neck sweatshirt or cardigan, white shirt and school striped tie.

Boys: Grey trousers

Girls: Navy skirt / pinafore / specified bootleg trouser.

Navy school fleece / reversible waterproof coat. Black shoes.

 

Summer Uniform

 

After Easter, at the start of Term 3, all P4 to P7 pupils change to Summer Uniform.

Pale blue polo shirt & Navy Sweatshirt or school navy cardigan. Black shoes

 

P1-P7 Girls: Blue check dress

(Optional summer uniform)

 

School Ties (P4-P7)

A supply of school ties is also kept in school should you need to purchase one mid year.

Pl-P3 Pupil Book Bags

Victoria Park Book bags for P1 to P3 pupils are available only from the school, priced £4.50

 

Jeans, jogging or tracksuit bottoms are not permitted as part of the school uniform.

 

Physical Education

 

From P3 upwards it is school policy to change for PE.

The kit is - navy shorts and pale blue Victoria Park Primary School t-shirt.  This is available from the school office costing £12.00/£13.50.  Gym shoes should be worn.

 

Football kits should not be worn to school as uniform or for PE.

 

Physical Education and Swimming are part of the NI Curriculum and it is a statutory requirement that all children take part in both.

 

Swimming

 

All P4-P7 pupils go swimming at least one term per year. We go to Templemore Swimming Centre where the children receive tuition from fully qualified coaches. Swimming costs £3.00 per week, payable at the pool.

 

All children must wear a swimming cap. These can be purchased at Templemore for £2.00.
