The children should watch the BBC Teach video which will introduce them to more sophisticated pie charts where they will have to use their knowledge of fractions to interpret them. They will then complete the Heinemann 7 activity. They need to read the questions carefully to check if the answer should be a number, a fraction, etc. If the answer needs to be a fraction, they should simplify the fraction where possible.
