Capacity is a topic that we haven't really looked at in any depth so far in P7. The children need to know that 1 litre is equal to 1000 millilitres. We would also have introduced them to centilitres (1 centilitre is equal to 10 millilitres). They need to be able to estimate the capacity of different containers, read scales on measuring containers and convert between litres and millilitres and vice versa. Watch the three videos and then work through the different activities. They may need some help with a few of the questions on the last activity.
